GAMEDAY UPDATES

Alabama vs. Tennessee

The Tennessee Volunteers will visit Tuscaloosa this weekend to take on the undefeated Crimson Tide. Before you arrive on campus to see Alabama play, be sure to check out uagameday.com for the latest parking, traffic and tailgating information. The information below will highlight the major areas of Gameday for this weekend. This week's game against Tennessee will kick off at 6:15 p.m. and will be televised on ESPN 2.

NEW THIS WEEK
TRAFFIC TIP OF THE WEEK
Kickoff is at 6:15 for the Tennessee game. Traffic will be heavy exiting Birmingham between 1pm and 3pm. This causes a significant traffic back up where I-459 merges onto I-20/59 in the Bessemer/McCalla area. Please prepare accordingly. Here are two possible alternates:

  • Avoid I-459 by driving through downtown Birmingham. You can merge onto I-20/59 here to take it all the way to Tuscaloosa.
  • On I-459, consider taking exit 1. From here, you can take CO 20 (Old Tuscaloosa Highway) and take an alternate onramp to I-20/59 or merge onto Highway 216 (Old Birmingham Highway) which will go all the way to Tuscaloosa, eventually becoming 15th St.

BRYANT MUSEUM
The Bryant Museum celebrates the football history of the University of Alabama from its first team in 1892 to this year’s Coach Saban team. Come relive the great players and great plays that established the Crimson Tide as a perennial power. New displays this fall include tornado recovery efforts, Big Al and the clay model of the Nick Saban statue.

Each visitor this week will receive a free collectable card featuring Bama All-American and hall of fame member Dwight Stephenson. Regular museum hours are 9 AM-4PM daily. For the Tennessee game, we will have extended hours from 9AM-6PM. Check out the new book When Winning Was Everything honoring Tide players who served our country during World War II.

Follow the Museum on Facebook and Twitter, on-line at BryantMuseum.com or call 1-866-772-BEAR (2327).
